ITB Berlin, "The World's Leading Travel Trade Show" (11 - 15 March 2009) will again present the whole variety of travel and vacation: "The perfect holiday starts here", organizers claim..

The team of hallourlaub.de (one of Germany's well know vacation sites, nowadays with more international offers) and of xsmobi.com (a quick an easy mobile website builder, aka mobihexer in Germany) will be on site and report on the hottest issues and events. Most current information will be available via twitter.com/urlaub99euro (Germany) and twitter.com/mobihexer (worldwide).

The German version of XSMOBI - mobihexer - has made it to an Alexa traffic rank of 700.000 - in Germany even 37.000 - within a few months. Google ranking is in good shape, too: Search for "mobile homepage" (which is in Germany more likely a search phrase than "mobile website") returns 2 links on the first page (google.de) - with and without the quotiation marks, that is, in the latter case: within first ten out of 40 million search results!

Up to now, there are 400+ registered user, 300+ sites, 1500+ pages. That is, the portion of "serious" users is relatively high.

Usage in other contries was low so far as we did not publish much. However, there is a wide variety of users in Germany yet: lodging and accommodation, tourism information, arts, music, IT/Web, consulting, media, sports,  mobiles / PDA (of course), doctors and psychotherapists and some private profiles. Many of them have built their own mobile sites with up to 30 pages and images, complex navigation and links.
